Palm Inc. is hosting an online event April 26 entitled “Direct Push Technology Now Available On The Treo 700w Smartphone from Verizon Wireless.” This has led many to the conclusion that the promised Messaging & Security Features Pack for Windows Mobile 5 will be deployed by Palm on, or shortly before, the 26th of this month. This pack is what enables WM5 devices to receive push email from Exchange SP2 servers.
