ReenSoft finally released a final build of PIEPlus 2.0 for the Pocket PC. It’s a great add on for Internet Explorer Mobile, something that is a must have if you are an avid mobile internet user. Check out the changes and download links below:

Changes from V2.0 Beta 1

• Go button in the address bar works with URL Alias
• Fixed the problem URL Alias Option on non-english device

Changes from V1.x

• Pocket PC 2000 is not supported any more
• No exe file. PIE will call the dll modules

URL Alias Example

• Enter “g test” in the address bar without double quote and press [Enter] key in the SIP, Software Input Panel. Then it will be expanded to “http://www.google.com/search?q=test”.
• Enter “y” and press [Enter] key. Then it will be expanded to “http://www.yahoo.com/” by the alias “y” defined in the options.
• Enter “yourdomain” and press “Enter” key. Then it will be expanded to “http://www.yourdomain.com/” by DEFAULT URL Alias.
• If you want to go to “yourdomain.net”, enter “yourdomain” and press [`] (Back Quote) key to expand the URL. Then it will be changed to “http://www.yourdomain.com/”. Press [`] (Back Quote) key again. Then it will be changed to “http://www.yourdomain.net/”. You can customize the EXPAND KEY in the options.
