- Designer Bluetooth HS: Jabra JX10

The Jabra JX10 is a great-looking Bluetooth headset, and after all, if you’re going to be wearing something all the time you want it to be great-looking.

I just received the Jabra JX10 to replace my bulky Jabra HT800. The pictures don’t do justice to the tiny size of the JX10. In reality it is very very small and very light.
I don’t like much to walk around with a BT HS on my ear, especially with a blinking blue led. Therefore, I only use the HT800 while driving. But with the lightness and very diminutive size of the JX10, I can wear it all the time to listen to the podcast (using Axim X51v/Widcomm BT stack) and of course switch to my cellphone when needed.
When the HS is not connected to the cellphone, as soon as I turn on, the JX10 connected automatically with my Axim (HS/HF) profile. The quality is acceptable for audio podcast listening.
The performance and audio quality is solid, combined with the simplicity design – Very few buttons and very small discret blue led. The little stylish dock for charging over mini USB is a great bonus too.
The only minor problem I notice few times, when the JX10 is connected to my cellphone, incoming call does not ring on the JX10 as it normally does, I have to push the botton to intercept the call. I also worry a bit about the earhook (comes with a spare), which is a bit fragile for the long run.
