Microsoft releases the Windows Mobile Starter Kits, which include fully functional sample applications. Each sample is complete and contains its documentation, so you can get started right away…

“Good news for WM developers, as Microsoft have two new ways to improve your coding. Firstly, the UA team have begun to publish “Starter Kits”, which are ready-to-compile-and-run Visual Studio 2005 solutions. The first batch of kits includes a Today Screen plug-in, a Tabbed Web Browser, and a C# board game demonstrating graphics and Artificial Intelligence. All the Starter Kits can be downloaded here, and there is a matching page on the Windows Mobile Developer Wiki for feedback and suggestions.”
