- ActiveSync Partnership and Profiles Utility

ASync PaPro Util (ActiveSync Partnership and Profiles Utility). As its name indicates, It is a very simple Windows XP utility to:

1. Delete all ActiveSync partnership and profiles
2. Invoke creation of new partnership name
3. Backup existing profile

This is something you might not need on a daily basis but one might need this at some point in time, in situations like ActiveSync partnership and profiles has gone out of control and you have to create a new partnership from scratch

Usage:
Button 1 – delete all Partnership and Profiles in your computer. That would involve all registry and *.dat files at ActiveSync profile folder. After a connection is re-established, ActiveSync will use the name from the last successful sync session.

Button 2 – delete only the Profiles. All registry data will remain intact. ActiveSync wil prompt you of a new partnership name. You wil have to type a name different from the last successful sync session.

Button 3 – backup your existing Profiles. To access backup files, open C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Application Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync\BackupProfiles. XXX being the computer name where \Application Data\Microsoft\ActiveSync is located.
