I definitely want to see the SMS CHAT THREAD as in the Treo 600/650. I almost want to chunk my 700wx across the room for not having it. BTW, the treo 750w does offer this so what’s the big deal?!

I’m in… One wish for my 700w and all current/future Pocket PCs would be face and voice recognition security. It’s got the camera and microphone, so why not?

I wish the 700w allowed you to select the SD card for storage of email and syncing documents, without having to hack the registry.

I think the user-interface is awful. I’m always confused about when to press OK, the center button or the green telephone button to initiate an action. There just doesn’t seem to be any consistency. It would be nice to have an app that handles all the functions of the Treo with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.

Ok….

for starters, I would like to see a threaded SMS texting app like the one found on the treo 650. Basically it’s like creating an instant message type display for text messaging.

When you exchange more than one text message with a single contact, those messages are automatically grouped into a chat session, also known as a â€œthread.â€ The upper part of the Chat view displays all text messages youâ€™ve exchanged with this address, and the lower part provides a text entry area where you can continue the conversation. You can carry on multiple chats at the same time and easily switch between them, using the pick list at the top of the screen.

Basics:
- All in coming/outgoing SMS to and from one recipient will be captured in a chat thread. Single SMS’s will be handled as normal. Two or more SMS’ will be captured in chat thread.

- SMS notification on the home screen

- In chat thread, users out going SMS in one color with time stamp, and incoming SMS in another color with time stamp.

- The ability to delete the entire Chat thread.
