- 3-D Bluetooth & WiFi Icons on Axim X50/X51/WM5

I posted the information how to replace the plain standard icons to shiny 3-D while ago. But it looks like more new users start asking this again. So here you go!

Fortunately Aneto (Barcelone, Spain) has put a little write up:

You find the BT & Wifi .mui files in this package is for Spanish and this is for English
For other languages see this LINK and rename the mui files accordingly.

1. Move the files BTTray.lnk & WirelessIcon.lnk from Windows\Startup or Inicio folder to another folder (My Documents for example)
2. Soft Reset. Then the BT & Wifi icons don’t appear in the tray.
3. Drop in windows folder .mui files (you can find in the zip)
4. Execute SetSecurity, and select Security Prompt OFF
5. Execute BTTray.exe and WirelessIcon.exe (that are in windows folder). Then the new icons appear
6. Move back the BTTray.lnk and WirelessIcon.lnk to Windows\Startup or Inicio folder
7. Soft Reset, and the new icons must be appear.

For new WM5 user: you need to execute Ctitanic’s Setsecurity.exe on your Axim and set security off. See HERE to download this utility.
