Installed mine today for a 2003 Sienna XLE“.. installed the Grom audio device in less than 15 minutes. 1st impressions… I’m going to love it. I love having just one cable going to the X51V. I used to have my cigarette lighter adapter for power and another cable for the audio. Now I just have one and don’t have to have anything in the cigarette lighter! Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it has power even when the keys are not in the ignition!! Wooohoooo, I love it!
Now I need to get my steering wheel controls working. I have to remove the plug which for the steering wheel controls in order to plug in the new adapter. This was the case for the USA spec device as well. So now it is time to see if I can make an adapter to get that going as well.
Overall… I LOVE IT!!! Great job! So much cleaner in the car now and I love the continuous charging even when the keys aren’t in the ignition.
