[...] I have an Aux input to my car stereo when I am driving, I listen to my Podcast played from my Axim, but when a phone comes in, I can conduct my phone conversation on my car speakers without any echo. This is great when I car pool with some colleagues and we all can listen to a conference call. [...]

Brian,
Sorry, I don't know the vendor name. But If you bring your car to any car stereo shop, they should be able to tell you. All the modern cars have a particular type of switch box on the back of the dashboard allowing connections to speakers, antenna, audio in/out...they just need to order (if they don't have one on stock) the adapter based on your car model...

I have tried with all the cassette adapter, FM transmitters, etc..none of them worked to my satisfactory..Until I went to a local car audio shop. They have an adapter specific to my car model that connects to the back of my car stereo and they run a wire with a 3.5 mm jack out.
I am very happy with the audio quality!

Hi Solsie,
Could you please explain a bit about your statement "Sound feeds to an aux input to my car stereo"?
I have a friend who's interested in connecting his PDA to the car stereo.
What software & hardware are required?
Thank you,
Daniel
