TenGO Challenge…
TenGO, makers of the eponymous input program, is looking for the fastest TenGO typists, with the goal to have at least 1,000 who can manage more than 50wpm. The challenge is open to any and all PocketPC users, including non-TenGO users, and 3 sets of Razer Pro Click Mouse and Mouse Pad and 3 copies of Muvee autoProducer5 are the prizes (more will be added soon). To enter, all you have to do is simply download and run the new TenGO Speed Test v1.20 software at challenge.tengo.net, practice typing the Challenge Text passage with any of the TenGO software, and then submitting here once you are able to save the file at Challenge mode with typing speeds above 50 wpm. Multiple submissions are allowed, but only the highest score per registrant will be shown. The Challenge ends December 29th.

Well the contest ended. There were 3 participants, and I was one of them!
The hall of fame remained pretty empty all the time, and today they still only show the 3 reference entries by the TenGo girls, and the 3 real participants: http://challenge.tengo.net/?page_id=5
So that would mean that I win the mouse/mousepad, AND the Muvee pack!
I didn’t hear from TenGo yet however
I hope this is just because of New Year etc, and that they’re not disappointed about the contest and trying to make it go away by just forgetting about it.
I’ll give them some more time
Quick update – just got an e-mail from them!
(Just want to make sure that if someone searches for “TenGO” and sees this post, they don’t need to think TenGO deserves bad advertising – they just had a hectic time during the holidays and things will work out fine now.
