Samsung Electronics has just presented their new WiMax-enabled Pocket PC Phone at the Samsung Mobile WiMax Summit 2006. Samsung SPH-M8100 also features a 2.8″ QVGA screen, a 2.0 MP camera, a VGA front camera, T-DMB and TV-Out. If you find the design of this device familiar, it’s probably because it looks like the SGH-i760. However, this device sports a numeric keypad rather than a QWERTY keyboard

The Samsung SPH-M8100 is the latest entrant in the phone market, but this one ain’t exactly a cell phone! The handset doesn’t support CDMA or GSM and uses WiMax in conjunction with IMS. Made for the Korean market, the SPH-M8100 takes VoIP to the next level and is capable of video conferencing, Push-to-All , and other high-speed data services.
