Solution to Change Voice Command to Different Language

Wow, two tips from Jason Landridge, Mr. Mobile, in 1 day!

I had a customer recently who wanted to install a different Language version of Voice Command and couldn’t because the Voice Command he had installed on his device was in ROM.

So thanks to the Voice Command team – we figured out a way of doing so….  if you have the same problem – here is a workaround…

1. Delete the registry keys under HKLM\software\microsoft\speech and HKLM\software\microsoft\voice command and HKCU\software\microsoft\speech
2. Re-install the other language version of Voice Command
