GooSync.com Beta offers a FREE service to keep mobile phones (including Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Smartphone) synchronized with GoogleCalendar

This is a very significant announcement for those who believe in the MS Exchange hosting sync. While only the calendar sync component is available versus the full blow PIM (Mail, Contact, Calendar, Task) of MS Exchange hosting. Nevertheless this capability is targeting first the most frequently used piece, the calendar. It is great if you have several devices and want to sync’ed them up without ActiveSync/PC

I wanted to sync Google Calendar events with my Mobile 5.0 device wirelessly, without Outlook, without ActiveSync and without putting my Google Account information into a third-party website. When I couldn’t find what I wanted, I wrote my own, GMobileSync.

It’s beta and I’m looking for suggestions, so if anyone has ideas, I would love to hear them!
