Life is so uncertain, so are your tech gears..
As we continue our series “New Year Resolution: Be Prepared”, this is the 2nd tip: It is good to backup your Bookmarks from your browser. The simple way is go to File - Bookmarks – Export (or something equivalent, depending on your browser); save the “bookmarks.html” in safe place (or send it yourself as attachment to your Web mail account). If you use Firefox, Foxmark plug-in can do a better job – Not only it upload your bookmarks on your account on the Web for easy access from any computer, Foxmark also synchronize them to your other computers as well. Reduncdancy is the best weapon against disaster!
The Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer automatically synchronizes your bookmarks between two or more computers running Firefox. It also lets you access your bookmarks from any computer anytime via my.foxmarks.com. An easy-to-use wizard guides you through the quick startup process. Then Foxmarks works silently in the background to keep your bookmarks up-to-date on all your computers.
Simple. Solid. Free. And ready to use!
