Hide the softkeys on your Today screen

Do you want to clear up more space on your Today screen? Do you know what your softkeys link to, so you don’t need to see them – as long as you can use them?

Then you can hide the softkeys from the Today screen by using dcinobar. It hides the softkeys from the today screen so that you:

  • Can still use them, they’re hidden, not removed.
  • Can still see softkeys in other applications as they also often use softkeys. There only hidden from the Today screen.

Download dcinobar_152.zip here

Thanks ppcjunky and kdskamal for the tip!

Only caveat:

Doesn’t work if you use AE Button Plus to emulate your softkeys. Your keys will stop functioning until a soft reset.

There is also vijay’s TodayToggle which can hide/toggle either the Start Bar (top) or Softkeys (bottom) or both:
