Online Conversion YouTube/Google Video and Stream to WM Device

After the very short lifespan of Tinytube. VidConvert (from Bleb.org) is another solution to watch YouTube/Google Video from your WM device (without downloading to your PC first)

Enter a URL (i.e. a YouTube or Google Video page, or direct link to a video file) or upload a file (maximum 50MB) and the conversion process will happen before your very eyes. Once complete, download the file and play back on your WM device and if you have TCPMP/CorePlayer, the playback should start immediately to receive the stream.

At the moment the smallest preset is used, resulting in relatively poor quality video. However, this is necessary for bandwidth and time reasons. Also, note that the resulting videos will be deleted after 24 hours. The queue size and number of resulting videos (/ 10) can be seen live.

The other solution is Vixy. I have been using this convertor for the past 2-3 weeks and I watch the videos on my iPAQ h1940 using TCPMP while I’m travelling between my workplace and home.
