Ads Banners are Coming to the Mobile Phone Near You!

Admob, the mobile advertising network made a public announcement about the service. According to the press release posted a couple of days ago on Yahoo News (via business wire), AdMob are currently claiming more than 250,000,000 mobile page views per month. The site and service has grown dramatically over the past few months. In case you have heard, Admob is a wap advertising service – works a bit like google adwords. They have global reach, you can pay a fixed price per click thru or you can bid automatically up to your top price.

Below is the video showing AdMob CEO Omar Hamoui, who demonstrates how his company tailors cellphone ads to users, right down to the type of phone they are using.
