Microsoft to Re-Ignite UMPC at CES

Microsoft is expected to show a new generation of UMPC (AKA Origami, Vistagami, etc.) at the CES 2007. The new UMPC will be based on Windows Vista.
The first generation UMPC, which are based on Windows XP have been way to expensive to be disruptive at any point in time. The price point will be an important factor to get this form factor taking off. The Current UMPCs are closer to $1,000.
Of course some serious contenders will be in its way such the Nokia N800, we published earlier.
