Op/Tech Straps
Readers of Solsie.com would have read my recent post about my travel gear. You would have known how much stuff I bring along with me when I travel and that I have recently purchased a D-SLR. If you have ever came into contact with a D-SLR or know anyone who uses one, you would know how heavy these things are. Together with the external flash and a battery grip, it weighs a ton.
All of these things will have to go into a bag which is then lugged around on my shoulders and the camera around my neck. Recently, I had come across a company that makes fantastic straps for cameras and for bags. This company is called Op/Tech and they’re based in the US. The straps are made of soft, durable neoprene pad combined with comfort-stretch backing. They claim that this makes whatever you’re carrying 50% lighter and 100% more comfortable. This is made possible because of the way the weight is dispersed over the shoulder/neck. The strap also acts as a shock-absorber eliminating shoulder/neck fatigue. Check out their website HERE. They make other stuff as well like pouches, etc.
I am extremely happy with the purchase and therefore would like to recommend it to everyone. I feel way less tired now after a long day of walking around lugging so much stuff. Trust me, the less tired you are the more enjoyable it is for both you and the people you’re travelling with.
