TGIF Music Video: YsabellaBrave

2 February, 2007 Posted by SolSie As Multimedia

Remember last year the lonelygirl15 phenomenon on YouTube?. This year a similar thing, perhaps is in the work. Her name is Mary Anne, her website is YsabellaBrave.com.

On her profile at YouTube.com there are photos of a twenty-something woman with a full mouth, dark eyes, and in thumbnails from her videos, ever-changing hair. But the question is - who is she? Is she an act, like lonelygirl15 last year, or an original, shooting to fame?

YsabellaBrave’s YouTube videos have been viewed more than 250,000 times and nearly 10,000 YouTube users have subscribed to her channel.

In 11 months, YsabellaBrave has posted at least 49 videos, about one a week. Mostly she sings the blues, but sometimes she rocks a little, other times she essays a little Broadway. You can browse her music video repertoire HERE! Enjoy!

Too too funny!!! This is a friend of mine. I guess she is getting to be more popular as the weeks go by.

To answer your questions… is she for real? Yeah. She loves to sing and to perform. She’s done some acting recently that got her recognized (Miss Horror Fest 2006). I’d lean towards her being an original that is trying to get her foot in the door.

I know she auditioned to be on American Idol but she didn’t really say what happened. I’m not sure if she got in and under conditions of non-disclosure can’t say anything. Maybe she didn’t get in. I’ll mention your site to her and perhaps she’ll respond here.
