VoIP Without a Client Program: Gizmo Call

1 February, 2007 Posted by SolSie As News, Windows PC

Michael Robertson, the founder of MP3.com and Gizmo project admits they got beaten bad by Skype. So this is his way to get back to the VoIP game. Gizmo offers 5 free minutes per day to call to anywhere for free and subscription-based is available as well at lower price then Skype and since this is a Flash-based (Run on your Browser - Flash-9 capable), there is no need to install a client program like Skype, and they hope some ads will subsidize the cost to consumers.
