Skins for Windows Media Player
If you’re still having difficulty to implement custom skins for WMP. You might want to follow the below instructions
There are 2 versions of WMP9 for WM2003 or later and WMP10 for WM2003SE/WM5, In addition to VGA and QVGA differences, The skins are not compatible between 2 versions.
If you have WMP9, please try to download some skins from http://juniskins.com; click on Media Player Skins and download skin such the one on the left. If you have WMP10 and VGA, download the skin on the right, click HERE!:
By my experience, with WMP10 you can create a folder on your storage card (e.g.WMP Skins) then store your skins there. (Make sure each subfolder has the skinfiles, not \WMP Skins\Folder\Skin1\file.file2, etc…)
Then the new skin should show up.
I believe (not 100%) with WMP9, you store the skin in \Program File\Windows Media Player\
More WMP skins can be found HERE! or in our Forums Good luck!

It’s about time someone came up skinning WMP
