AT&T is launching its Mobile Backup service on June 8. The service consists of downloading of a client program (agent) to the phone to backup all contacts automatically or on demand. The compatible phone list is pretty hefty, featuring the latest AT&T-offered models from Motorola, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson (not a smartphone in sight, though). Look for it to run $1.99 / month when it launches in June.

I regularly backup my mobile data with zyb.com and for me it works pretty fine and its absolutely free, i was just wondering how many at&t users will be able to utilize this service with so less support of mobiles.
