According to an article on Information Week, Apple recent patent filing reveals more information related to the iPhones security features. If you leave a specific location, the iPhone may be able to prompt a user for a code. If said code is not entered, the iPhone will lock its ability to charge the battery. This timer method is said to be effective, so well see just how well it works come next week.

(If the battery is full, some idiot can still have 8 hours to mess with your data!)
