CallWave Converts Voicemail To Text

 CallWave, the free cellular voice mail replacement service. By redirecting your voicemail to their free voicemail service, you can access any of your voicemails at any time (from your computer). There’s also widget available (OS X and Yahoo!) that lets you hear messages in any order you like (Kinda Visual Voicemail that iPhone is touting)

Callware just announced their Vtxt (Voice-to-Text) technology. When someone leaves you a voice message, the service e-mails or SMSes you the transcription.

I see this could be useful when I am in a meeting with my laptop on. I can have a glance at my voicemail inbox. I am sure the transcription is far from perfect but having some ideas about the call is always useful.
