Gmail Offers PowerPoint Preview

13 June, 2007 Posted by SolSie As Tips, Windows PC

Yesterday Google announced its GMail, now offers new capability to view attached Microsoft PowerPoint file as html (no graphic) or SlideShow directly from your browser. (of course you can always download the attached file as usual).

Google has mentioned that it plans to release software for editing these files also. This another aggressive move toward Microsoft office territory after Google Doc, Spreadsheet offerings.

Tip: Now you can use Firefox extension GSpace to store your MP3, PowerPoint files and play/view them online directly from your browser - No download needed
