Itask-Wisbar Advance with iPhone-like Transitions

24 June, 2007 Posted by SolSie As Themes & Skins, Windows Mobile

RHOV23, a member of LakeridgeSoftware (Home of Wisbar Advance & Wisbar Desktop) forums posted a  preview of the menu system on his windows mobile.

The transition effect was done with Wisbar Advance, Flash and Mortscript.

Update from RHOV23: It’s made in flash. Flash communicates with xml, txt and mortscript, that loads, runs and receive different “stuff”. It doesn’t use much memory, and the battery is the same as when I used WAD. My WAD actually used more memory.
Because it uses Flash, it will never be as customizable as wad. I use mortscript to call programs, so the links to programs can be altered outside iTask later.
The file size of the program is 660 kb (now) + 80 kb with mortscript and xml. 400 kb of that is taken by the flash compiler. 260 by .swf file (the weather part took 160 kb alone because of all the images)
My phone is qtek2020i (htc alpine) 128 mb ram and 520 mhz processor. wm2003se (sadly)

The author released the Alpha version HERE! and some Flash-based apps. He promised, the final version will be available in few weeks.
