Box.net Hosts Storage for iPhone

Riding on the hype of iPhone; Box.net, online backup service provider offers a new nice GUI for iPhone users. After logged on, user can access and actually use the contents.

As you know, the iPhone does not offer any file system, therefore, you can’t download files, but if you access to your .jpg files from Box.net account, you actually can view them directly. Same as videos, PDF, text and office documents.

At this time audio files such MP3 can not play back from Box.net (alternatively, you can playback MP3 using Seeqpod.com/iPhone)

Unfortunately, upload several iPhone-captured images to your box.net account is not yet supported; but you can get around this by sending the pix as attachments to your box.net account.

Here’s a short clip of the new interface, opening up image, text, and PDF files over WiFi connection.
