Free Finger-Touch App: ContactManager

We covered several contact apps that allow user to scroll the contact list with the finger. But the latest ContactManager (.8) seems to stand out of the crowd due the the following reasons:

• If you have a large contact list, CM allows you to jump start from a specific letter – Just hold the finger on the most left or most right side of the screen and slide up/down to select the alphabet that to want to jump to.
• CM supports VGA screen as well as QVGA
• User can customize the look; display order (last name/first name/ company, etc), just by editing the Settings/SettingsVGA ini file 
• When select a contact, the details will show up with slide left to right transition. Tap on “Back” button; the screen goes back to previous display. Very nice visual effect.
• Contact picture thumbnail supported.

Note: I first spotted this at PocketPCFreeware but it points to an earlier version, which did not work on my Axim X51v.
