In a Press Communication today 7/24/07, Verizon Wireless announces that its customers are the first in the nation that can record video with their wireless phones and upload the videos directly to YouTube using an easy to remember number YTUBE (98823).

Verizon Wireless customers simply need to update their YouTube accounts with their wireless phone numbers by visiting www.youtube.com/mobile. Verizon Wireless currently offers more than two dozen video messaging-capable phones.

Customers with V CAST-enabled phones can also access a selection of YouTube videos through the YouTube channel on V CAST. Available on select phones for $3.00 for 24-hour use or $15.00 monthly subscription, V CAST includes unlimited basic video, but application download fees apply for 3D games and premium video. There are no airtime charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content.
