Update 8/23/07 the Tutorial went online HERE!
Unlocking the iPhone was mentioned to be a dead-end but Engadget just posted a video made by Geohot and his team. They have apparently found a hardware solution. According to the video, the details will be unveiled within a week and perhaps a software solution will be available by then for public consumption.
