Latest News: Version 1.2 update posted by the author. This fixes the problem with accessing youtube videos.
Also, note that youtube has started redirecting mobile-client requests to their mobile site, so use the following link to access the full youtube site: http://www.youtube.com/?nomobile=1
Download the 1.2 CAB HERE!
Once again, another solution was made available from Zbop at TreoCentral user forums (if you have any difficulty registering, you can alternatively visit HERE) . This solution is yet the most elegant for Flash-based video streaming.
From your Mobile Internet Explorer; browse any popular Flash-based video sharing sites such
video.google.com
www.veoh.com
www.mobetube.com
stage6.divx.com
divxtube.ca
www.crunchyroll.com
www.tudou.com
Select to watch any video; TCPMP will be launched to play that video stream.
The solution consists of installing a small CAB file and of course TCPMP player. I tested on my Axim X51v and it works beautifully.
Unfortunately, as reported by Menneisyys (you probably noticed, I intentionally left out the most popular name YouTube), there are some changes in the HTTP structure of YouTube few days ago that made the solution stop working with YouTube videos. Hopefully, the author of this hack will provide a new version to address YouTube issue.
