Apple just announced one million iPhone sales barrier has been reached, 74 days after the iPhone first release on June29, 2007.

At the same day, Engadget reports the software unlock solution iPhoneSIMfree has become available to general consumer via few resellers (Wireless Imports in the US, iPhoneWorldwideUnlock in Australia, 1digitalphone in Germany, and iPhone4arab in Saudi Arabia) at around $100 per unit.

Now the floodgate has opened for worldwide consumers, we should expect the 2 Million mark will be reached sooner that the first million.
