iPod Touch Got Reviewed

The iPod touch, Apple’s iPhone without the phone and somebody even called it what a “Stand-alone” PDA should be.

PCMag has some hands-on with it and the verdict is “as good as the iPhone” in addition to the double-clicking on the “only” button that will bring the music controls fore front and the iTunes song purchase/download over WiFi took a mere 15 seconds from start to finish. The plug for third party headphones seems to be fixed as well.

The reviewer did not reveal the lack of ability to create calendar entry; Bluetooth A2DP; FM radio, GPS and of course 3rd party apps (but this will come as you know…) that would make this an awesome multi-media PDA.
