Mysterious Samsung Smartphone w/Touchscreen

Update: The Samsung device turns out to be Samsung SGH-i780. See specs HERE!

PPCT and the::unwired reported a video captured by DinarSoft at GITEX this week. In addition to the new form factor of Qwerty device, 320×320 screen running WM Professional (w/touchscreen) the video shows a mouse pointer controlled by the d-pad).

The same capability existed on the iPaq hx4700 controlled by the touchpad and I remember installing a free utility called FakeCursor on the Dell Axim X51v while ago.
