An essential part of any successful mobile device deployment large or small is the ability to stay connected to the flow of critical information To aid in this, Chapura has released FolderMirror 1.0, which lets owners of a wide variety of mobile devices carry and stay connected to any Outlook Calendar and Contacts folders.

FolderMirror allows you to stay connected to any Outlook Calendar or Contacts folder by replicating the items in those folders in your main Outlook Calendar or Contacts folder. FolderMirror then monitors the secondary folder and provides real time updates from that folder to your main Outlook Calendar or Contacts folder. Once in your main Outlook Calendar or Contacts folder, your existing Outlook conduit can then transfer those items to your mobile device.

This includes Exchange public folders, sub-folders, and SharePoint folders. It replicates and continues to update the desired information in the main Outlook Calendar or Contacts folders allowing wireless or cabled synchronization solutions to transfer the information.

FolderMirror supports the iPhone, Palm OS, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and Symbian devices.

This application is available for $49.95 from the Chapura web site
