We posted about Sofatube before but another easier solution for your living room or your large monitor to stretch the width of Youtube video.
Weblog Digital Inspiration says that all you need to do is grab the YouTube video ID—the string of text following watch?v= and append it to the end of this URL:
http://www.youtube.com/v/video_code_here
So, for example, you would change:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PM9yhfYFLw
…to… http://www.youtube.com/v/-PM9yhfYFLw
