Last week Apple debuted its iPhone in UK and Germany with the worldwide firmware 1.1.2 release update . Apple has also released an iPod Touch 1.1.2 firmware update which is available for some through iTunes or downloadable from HERE!
The firmware 1.1.2 (BTW has been jailbroken) brought in the new capability of adding events to the calendar on the iPod Touch, which bring the iPod Touch a step closer to its sibling iPhone
