Free Online Weather Service: PDA Animated Weather (QVGA)

I explored Rocketshotz services, and surprisingly found this site: PDA Animated Weather (www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/paw/). PAW provides a great set of basic and advanced alpha-numeric (A/N) bulletins and graphical weather services for the continental U.S.  with animated graphics. PAW is formatted for mobile device. Display includes radar/satellite, surface temperature, model forecast animations, and MOS data (the statistical data that is gleaned from the computer model run) to name just a few. Example HERE!

This webpage is designed for QVGA devices. It’s to small on a VGA screen. :(

Thank you Speedy1979, I will add this!

It looks nice, but wouldn’t it make more sense to optimize for mobiles, and not only for PDA’s.?

The site is optimized for mobile hand held devices that offer web browsers that support animated GIFs, wireless access to the net, a touch screen interface and a high resolution color display with a minimum footprint of 280 X 300 pixels. These features are typical of the current generation of PDA Smartphones. Most mobile phones lack at least one of these features.
