The basic version (without handwriting support etc) is always free by the way … Great program. I use it everyday!

It is not clear about their pricing and the basic version (It is supposed to have 60 day trial. , I used that before it never expired. The PocketPC companion version costs $20

The registered version adds handwriting recognition I believe, but indeed there also seems to be a free version that a lot of GAOTD commenters use.

Where do you find that the PPC version costs 20 bucks?

I’m looking at http://www.evernote.com/products/evernote/technology_preview/ at the moment and it seems to offer a free (?) “technology preview”.
