mPlayer is one of the most popular Linux/Unix media player. Now, thanks to XDA-Developers forum, the porting to Windows Mobile has begun. While this still a work in progress, the developer is working to address the GUI and high CPU usage. mPlayer on WM is a very promising project knowing the very complete list of supported codecs that will be included.

One of the strong points is the support for RealAudio and RealVideo files along with H.264, Flac, MP4, M4a, OGG, MP3, etc in both offline or streaming (RTSP) mode.
