Tip: Is the Gas Tank Opening on the Left or on the Right?

A simple tip that I did not know. When you pull in to the gas station for a fill-up, especially with a different car (e.g. rental). Were you wondering what side is the gas tank opening?

Actually, there is no need to get out of the car to check. You can get that information right from your dashboard. The Fuel gauge always shows a little arrow next to the gas pump icon. The arrow indicates the side of the opening.
