You are familiar with "Push-Mail" technology. Pingie offers a similar concept, but instead of email, you will get the news that you select from your RSS feeds via SMS.

When the Consumer Electronic Show next week and MacWord right after. two most popular pilgrimages in the tech world take place back to back. Why not stay up-to-the-minute current even when you are not on your computer.

Just go to Pingie.com, enter your information (email, phone#, RSS feed) and Pingie will do the rest.

My only tip to you: If you have unlimited or very generous SMS in your plan, go ahead with Engadget/TUAW feeds. If not, use http://solsie.com/feed we will not break your bank ;-) – Alternatively, we already prepared the subscription of SolSie feed sending to your phone with Plusmo. For a preview, click HERE!
