Microsoft at Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona

Microsoft has just made available Web pages dedicated to Mobile World Congress 2008. This year both the two Microsoft big guns Pieter Knook (Windows Mobile VP) and Robbie Bach (WM & Xbox VP) will be attending. That means Microsoft might have some major announcements to share with the world. Get more detailed information how to attend in person or online after the jump!

You can plan to attend Microsoft Press Conference that takes place on Monday, 11 February 2008 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. (Central European Time)

You Can Attend

  • In Person: Attend in person at the Microsoft Executive Meeting Center. Pre-registration is not required. Admittance will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, dependent on venue capacity. You must show a Mobile World Congress Press Badge to be admitted.

  • You can find out more about our news at Mobile World Congress, by visiting Microsoft global virtual press room. This site will be available shortly before the event and will be updated regularly leading up to the show. The site will be updated with the following information:

    • Microsoft press announcements (after news has been announced)
    • Links to partner press releases (after news has been announced)
    • Executive biographies
    • Photographs
    • Customer case studies
  • Online: Specific instructions for attending online will be posted HERE prior to the event. But you will be able to:

    • Watch the press conference via live webcast

    • Listen via Internet audio stream, or dial in to audio conferencing

    • Ask questions via Live Meeting (as many questions as possible will be answered during the Q&A session, time permitting)

    • See the press conference on demand, 30 days after the conference end
