Nokia & Microsoft WM in Talk

According to intoMobile Microsoft’s Mobile: Communications Business International Marketing Director John Starkweather confirmed with iTWire that “talks between Microsoft and Nokia were indeed occurring to discuss potential synergies between Microsoft Mobile Division and Nokia. Both companies  would love to see the day where those synergies would extend completely with Windows Mobile.”

Microsoft is clearly trying with Nokia, the same experience it did with the struggling Palm. Knowing even with the dominance of Nokia/Symbian in the rest of the mobile world, Nokia performance in the US has been suboptimal for sometime. This move perhaps to introduce more Nokia in to the business space where WM has better penetration. (photo is a mockup version of the Nokia N95 with WM OS) [Via Engadget]
