Zeemote, the creator of intuitive user interface technologies, today announced the launch of the patented Zeemote JS1, a wireless controller that enables near-console game play on mobile phones.

Today phone hardware (processor, screen resolution, graphics video) has become more powerful but the lack of game controller makes them not suitable for serious hardware gamers.

Created by the team that developed the first force feedback joystick for PC gaming, the Zeemote JS1 controller brings mobile gaming to a fun, fast and interactive level. The JS1 interact with the cellphone via Bluetooth, it is small, responsive, ergonomic.  Watch the video demo after the jump!

Alright! Finally a replacement for the vastly price-gouged Chainpus bluetooth gamepad. Wait, is that the Wii Nunchuk? I have some doubts about one handed playability of most titles. We’ll have to wait and see.
