Microsoft, Nokia Put Silverlight On Mobile Devices
Microsoft’s Silverlight, an Internet App browser plug-in that competes with Adobe Flash, just got a push to mobile space with the latest announcement from Microsoft and Nokia: both companies will bring plug-in to devices that use Nokia’s popular S60 software platform.
Nokia will also make Silverlight available on its Series 40 devices and its Internet Tablet devices, the N810 series.
Since Symbian powered handhelds are very popular worldwide and Microsoft has committed to cross platform support. It is natural they push this platform out first. The company is also working on a version of Silverlight for Windows Mobile, a beta version of which is due out soon.
Speaking about cross platform compatibility, I am wondering if Silverlight will be adopted by iPhone/Safari in the wake of Steve Jobs announcement stating that Adobe Flash is not suitable for iPhone/iPod Touch current hardware.

where can i download silverlight for mmy mobile nokia e90?? Pls tell me
I don’t think it is available yet. MS reportedly also deliver Silverlight for Windows Mobile in 2Q08. I hope the Nokia version will be available first.
Again, Silverlight is just a platform technology, which requires application to exploit it.
