Microsoft Office Live Workspaces Goes Live

Office Live Workspace is Microsoft’s approach to online collaboration that combine the Web and the offline Office products.

The online service acts as a common depository for team mates to share & collaborate documents, without the need for costly servers or group software, but requires Office’s desktop software components to be installed in order to perform any substantial editing.

Unlike Google Docs, that only offer the online capability. MOLW can leverage the ubiquitous “offline” MS Office presence on all the desktop (Mac & PC) to add the online component to it.

Below are the 2 videos explaining what you can take advantage of the new offerings.

ms workspaces works has good features document collaboration solution, but i still prefer hyperoffice because it has integrated collaboration tools which synergize with doc collaboration and increase productivity. moreover unlike HO, workspaces does not work on mobiles
