Lately, you have seen few remarkable offerings for mobile warriors that are very different from the ordinary laptops. The 3 below devices come with a price tags above $1500. They all come with pluses and minuses. Let’s have a closer look to see which one if the perfect laptop?

The Apple Air is unanimously acclaimed the most stylish with its thinnest; the full side keyboard and screen, etc.. however, it comes with compromises such short (and non removable) battery life; the lack of Ethernet port, optical drive,…

The Lenovo X300, not as stylish but useful in may aspects. It addresses all the shortcoming list from the Apple Air at a steep price

The HTC Shift is a very innovative hybrid laptop that is smaller than the X300 and the Air. At haft of the weight of the Apple Air, it offers 5″ less in screen real estate and smaller keyboard. But it has 2 strong points: The Hybrid feature allows the Shift to run in Vista and Windows Mobile when appropriate on 2 separate CPUs. Of course the WM mode helps to save tremendously battery life for common tasks such email, calendar, notes, etc. The other point is it has 3G Cellular radio built-in for anywhere access that neither the X300 (WiMax available) nor the Air have.

In this post, TomsHardware think the future winning Laptop would be the combination of 3 above devices.   There are other popular devices such the Asus Ees, the Celio Redfly that might play in the mix. Unfortunately, they are considered more of a companion device as opposed to the full-fleche business machine.
