Twitzer: Firefox Extension For Big Twitter Talker

Twitter limits your text entry to 140 characters to tell the world “What are you doing?”. Most of the time, I think it is enough to convey the message, but in some occasions, you might want to send more than 140 characters without splitting in to 2 Tweets. Here is a solution for Firefox users:

Twitzer is a Firefox extension which lets you post text longer than 140 characters on Twitter.com.

Once installed, log on to the Twitter site normally and type away in the update box (ignore the character count when it goes into minus and turns red).

Right mouse click on the message and select Twitzer text.

You message will be truncated and a linkable URL is available to take you to the entire message.

If you don’t want to leave Twitter, you can also right mouse click and select De-Twitzer.  [Source i-stuff.blogspot]
